Roger Morse brings over twenty-five years of solid legislative policy, coalition
building and campaign experience to Capitol Pathfinders. For nearly 20 years, he
focused on policy issues for four members of the House of Representatives, including
the Majority Leader. During that time, Mr. Morse organized and led a group of more
than one hundred policy staffers that developed action items on policy and legislative
matters in Congress.
Since leaving public service, Roger was a registered lobbyist for over six years
with a major lobbying and law firm. In that capacity, he’s represented over 100 clients
including several Fortune 500 companies in policy areas of energy, taxes, environment,
healthcare, financial services, transportation and postal reform. His other clients
have included nanotechnology, small biotechnology companies and education interests.
Mr. Morse also has provided extensive research and policy guidance to financial investment
firms as they sought to interpret congressional activity on issues affecting the
Roger serves as a Visiting Fellow at the non-profit, non-partisan organization, Citizens
Against Government Waste. He has authored many articles for PJ Media and other publications.
He has appeared as a speaker at trade association conferences and other large groups
to discuss the legislative process, budget process and specific legislation.
Roger is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a double major in Economics
